Delphine moved to New
York from France in 1996 to pursue a career in illustration.
She first chose the field of editorial illustration,
getting assignments from such clients as NewTimesLa, New York Press
and the Gotham Gazette.
She recently decided to branch out to surface design,
and wall decor and paperware, which she thinks fits her artistic sensibility
better.
Best described as a clown and a poet, she aspires
to put some humor and tenderness on everyday products.
She favors pen and ink drawing, for the classic elegance
of the line, and watercolor painting, with its unique mix of careful
planning and spontaneity.
She gets her inspiration daily from her two cats,
and the observation of the many people in New York City.
Delphine is grateful to the many people who have
helped her live her dream of working as an artist.
